Who We Are:

The Brondesbury Group is a research and
consulting firm that bridges the gap between
market research firms and high-level strategy
consultancies. The firm is built on a base of
experienced professionals with backgrounds in
financial services, health, education and
organizational psychology. Our principals have
worked with most of the largest banks and
insurers in the world, as well as many regional
and national providers of financial services and
healthcare.
We typically work on projects that present
challenges – too much data, not enough
information, or a need for specialized knowledge
and methods. Projects most often require a quick
solution to an immediate problem, but for a very
few clients, we maintain a long-term advisory
relationship.
Our specialty is finding out what
decision-makers really need even when they are
unable to articulate those needs themselves.
This helps you set your priorities and helps us
find solutions to your problems. We use plain
language to tell you about client needs and
recommend ways to grow your business.
Methods &
Core Competencies:
The methods we use are varied, just like the
needs of our clients. We have no pre-set bias.
In-depth personal interviews, analysis of
in-house or supplied databases, internet
surveys, focus groups, telephone surveys, and
content analysis are all regularly used in our
studies. More innovative methods like opinion
leader and community leader techniques are also
used in our future studies. And unlike most
firms, we specialize in using these techniques
with decision-makers in business and government,
as well as with professional advisors.
In our competitive intelligence work, we often
need to use indirect methods like content
analysis, trading information among competitors,
synthesis of existing research, organizational
analysis and proprietary database searches. Our
statistical analysis is unusually sophisticated
including robust data analysis, scaling
techniques, data mining, predictive and
behavioral modeling, and classical multivariate
statistics. While our techniques are
sophisticated, we have developed the knack of
presenting findings and implications in plain
language.
