Carrying Broker Services
The market for clearance and settlement services (including cash handling)
for US broker-dealers, including independents and the execution arm of
asset managers. Market size and capture strategies were the focus of the
work.
Expanding Custody Service to New Markets
Mergers among existing custodians often create service disruptions. On
behalf of our client we investigated the service opportunities created
by mergers and recommended a strategy for entry. With a mid-market focus,
we predicted the likely market response to our client and potential revenue.
Evaluation of a New Pension Reporting System
Interviews with clients early in the implementation process led to immediate
improvements in the remaining roll-out of a new pension reporting system.
Interviews at 6 months and 12 months after implementation identified service
and reporting concerns that our client was able to remedy quickly. The
process ensured a smooth roll-out with higher than average client satisfaction.
