Watson · Gardner · Brown was founded by Colleen Watson when she left the Investment Dealer Burns Fry.  Her five years there as a Partner, Director and Vice President Human Resources convinced her that there was a need for a high quality, targeted research-based Executive Search boutique that had a keen understanding of Bay Street culture and can quickly deliver to clients exacting standards. In the early years most of the business was in the Brokerage/Asset Management areas, along with the various support departments.  As the business matured, we have found ourselves involved in an ever-wider range of businesses and functional specializations in the Financial Services arena.

Although our primary market is Canada, we have completed assignments for Canadian firms with offices in the U.S. and the UK.
